Highlights
Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Exicutive Council, has aproved the following fare strucutres after endorsing Order Number 3/2009
- The daily pass will cost Dh 14 for unlimited trips on metro and public buses all over the city
- A passenger using a metro can take the bus free of cost
- Minimum fares up to three kilometers Dh 1.8 (If the passenger is using a Pre-paid Card)
- Minimum fares up to three kilometers Dh 2 (For Standard Tickets)
- Maximum fares for single jurney will be Dh 6.5 (Standard Tickets)
- Maximum fares for single jurney will be Dh 5.8 (Pre-paid Card)
- Children under five years can travel Free of charge
- A monthly pass for students will cost Dh 170 for unlimited trips
- A monthly pass for senior citizen's will be Dh 200
- The Electronic fare card known as NOL Card.
- The NOL cards will be available at Stations, Vending Mechines, Petrol Stations and Stores all over the city
